2008 Seminar and Events
- South East Nerve Net March 28-29, 2008 (http://biology.gsu.edu/senn/)
The Center for Neuromics provided funding for this regional Neuroscience meeting. The meeting was attended by over 100 students and faculty from 12 universities in 5 southeastern states. The focus of the meetings is on Ph.D. students and Post-docs. Short talks and posters were presented. In addition, there were two keynote talks, one from Dr. John Hildebrand (University of Arizona) and another from Dr. Erich Jarvis (Duke University). Additional funding for this meeting was provided by a grant from NIH and the Grass Foundation. -
Graduate student sponsored-Seminar, April 17
The Center for Neuromics sponsored a special seminar that the Neurobiology and Behavior graduate students hosted. The students selected the speaker and made all of the arrangements for the meeting
