Katherine Stuhrman

Grad Student
Biography

Kat joined the Neuroscience Institute at GSU in 2012 and works in the Roseberry lab.  The Roseberry lab is interested in the neural regulation of feeding behavior and specifically how the mesolimbic dopamine system (the brain’s reward system) regulates food intake and food related behaviors.  For her research, Kat uses whole-cell electrophysiology to determine how different neuropeptides and neurotransmitters regulate dopamine neuronal activity.
