The Neuroscience Institute offers undergraduates a minor in neuroscience, a B.S. in Neuroscience, and a dual B.S./M.S. in neuroscience. In all of our programs you begin with learning central biology and chemistry concepts. You will quickly move on to our core neuroscience courses that explore the fundamentals of how nervous systems work. You’ll also take a course in which you practice professional development skills, putting you on the fast-track to academic success and a career in neuroscience. Once you have gained expertise in these essentials, you’ll learn how the scientific method is applied in the neurosciences, then practice what you have learned in our laboratory course. At the same time, you can begin taking upper level courses that fit your interests.
Students must meet the requirements of the University, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the Neuroscience Institute for all degree programs. For more information:
