Brains & Behavior Fellow Katie Partrick Awarded Prestigious Dissertation Grant and Suttles Graduate Fellowship

We are pleased to announce that our Graduate Brains & Behavior Fellow, Katherine (Katie) Partrick, has been awarded with not one, but TWO prestigious University fellowships this month!  She, along with 10 other deserving doctoral students, have been awarded with a $2,000 Dissertation Grant.  The purpose of the Dissertation Grant Program is to support the scholarly dissertation research of doctoral level graduate students at Georgia State University.  In addition, Katie was awarded with the William M. Suttles Award.   The Suttles Graduate Fellowship is awarded to the applicant deemed to have the most outstanding qualifications within their field of study, and who also submitted an outstanding dissertation grant proposal as determined by the team of faculty reviewers. This fellowship is an additional monetary award given to the student following their selection as the winner of the distinguished Dissertation Grant award.

Let’s all congratulate Katie on a job well done!
