The Neuroscience Institute has an interdisciplinary approach to research in the Neurosciences. Reflecting that approach, there are numerous centers associated with the Neuroscience Institute. The following is a non-exhaustive listing:
The Center for Behavioral Neuroscience (CBN)
A multi-institution organization that promotes research on the neural basis of social behavior.
The Center for Neuromics (CfN)
A Board of Regents center for promoting research using Neurogenomics and high-performance computing.
Center for Neuroinflammation and Cardiometabolic Diseases (CNCD)
A University- Level center focused on inflammation in the brain and how it may contribute to a number of serious health conditions.
The Language Research Center (LRC)
The LRCconducts research on social, cognitive, and biobehavioral research on non-human primates.
The Center for Research on Atypical Development and Learning (CRADL)
An interdisciplinary basic and applied research center that facilitates educational and outreach efforts related to atypical development and learning.
The Center for Advanced Brain Imaging (CABI)
Manages a state-of-the-art neuroimaging and neurostimulation facility to reveal brain function.
